About Us

Precision Medicine
Rooted in nature. Guided by coherence—not force.

Our Story

Boyd Wellness is a boutique integrative medicine practice offering deeply personalized care for those navigating complex health challenges, periods of transition, or simply a desire to feel more fully well. Rooted in functional medicine and enriched by somatic and nervous system–based work, the practice creates space for both scientific rigor and human depth. Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy is available within a structured, supportive framework when appropriate.

Care is relational, attentive, and intentionally paced—supporting not only symptom resolution, but a deeper sense of vitality, coherence, and self-trust. Drawing on a breadth of clinical training and lived experience, the work is held with humility and care, honoring the body as an intelligent system and healing as both a biological and deeply personal process.

For those who sense there may be more available—in their health, their clarity, and their lives.

Jennifer Boyd

Jennifer Boyd is a Physician Associate and integrative medicine practitioner whose work is centered on understanding complexity—how symptoms emerge, how patterns take shape, and how the body moves toward healing when given the right conditions.

Her training spans functional and biological medicine, women’s health, somatic and nervous system therapies, and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, allowing her to work across disciplines with precision and flexibility. She is known for her ability to listen beyond symptoms, recognize underlying patterns, and meet each person with both clarity and care.

Her approach is both rigorous and deeply human—grounded in science, shaped by lived experience, and guided by a respect for the body’s inherent intelligence.

My Background

  • Jennifer brings over 2 decades of clinical experience in integrative and functional medicine, with a focus on complex, chronic conditions, women’s health, and nervous system–mediated illness. She has practiced across both private and multidisciplinary settings and has held leadership roles shaping integrative care within collaborative medical environments. Her work is distinguished by its depth, precision, and continuity—often supporting patients who have not found resolution elsewhere. In addition to direct patient care, she has trained clinicians nationally in advanced therapies such as EBOO, Mifepristone and TVU,  and contributed to the development of integrative treatment protocols within progressive care models.

  • Jennifer is a Physician Associate with a strong foundation in conventional medical training, complemented by advanced study in integrative and functional medicine. She graduated summa cum laude from her PA program, received the Bergen Award for highest clinical performance, and was a recipient of a full New York State scholarship—distinctions that reflect both academic excellence and clinical discernment. She also holds graduate-level training in ecopsychology from Naropa University, where she completed her studies with a perfect academic record, deepening her understanding of the relationship between human health, environment, and meaning. Her educational path bridges biomedical science with a broader view of healing as both a physiological and deeply human process.

  • Jennifer has pursued extensive post-graduate training across a wide range of disciplines in a deliberate effort to expand what is possible in patient care. Rather than adhering to a single modality, her work reflects a sustained commitment to seeking out and integrating the most effective tools available—particularly in cases where conventional approaches fall short. Her training spans functional and biological medicine, somatic and body-centered therapies, psychedelic-assisted therapy and integration, and advanced clinical interventions including ozone-based therapies, neural therapy, and precision injectable approaches.

She is a Reiki Master and incorporates energy-based modalities alongside advanced assessment techniques, including Autonomic Response Testing (ART), to support a more nuanced, individualized understanding of patient needs. Her work is also informed by a refined intuitive sensibility—used with care and clinical responsibility—to perceive patterns that may not be immediately visible through standard frameworks.

This breadth is not incidental, but intentional—born from a pioneering approach that prioritizes depth, adaptability, and meaningful outcomes. Each modality is applied with discernment and precision, in service of moving the needle on health in ways that are both measurable and deeply felt.

  • Beyond the clinic, Jennifer’s work extends into teaching, mentorship, and the development of integrative care models. She has designed and led clinician trainings, educational programs, and retreats, and has contributed to the advancement of integrative medicine frameworks within collaborative medical settings.

Her leadership experience includes service on the board of Documenting Hope, a national nonprofit dedicated to reimagining children’s health through root-cause and systems-based approaches. She has also engaged in advocacy efforts supporting more integrative, prevention-oriented models of care at both community and legislative levels, and maintains ongoing collaboration with practitioners and knowledge keepers from diverse healing traditions around the world.

Her work is guided by a commitment to restoring relationships between individuals and their bodies, communities, and the natural world—through nature-based and experiential healing environments. These efforts reflect a dedication not only to individual patient care, but to the thoughtful evolution of how healing is practiced and shared. Diverse contributions reflect a commitment not only to individual patient care, but to the evolution of how healing is understood and practiced more broadly.
